No need to upgrade your skills to go into the next level of earning. Time available for other stuff.
No need to go courting; to search, find, impress, cultivate, persuade; spend time bonding.... Time available for other stuff.
No need to fetch, carry, see doctors, meet with teachers, prepare for debates; do more jobs to get more dough to spend on extra tuitions; the kids grew up and are independent. Time available for other stuff.
Put together these available time into old age. And there is time for reflection.
For me this is an interesting time of investigation of USELESS STUFF.
Like creativity.
