A gift is a beautiful thing.
The receiver does not have to deserve it. Nor earn it. Nor do something in exchange for it.
It is not a reward. Or bonus. Not incentive. Not salary. Not payment.
Freely given by the giver for the receiver's pleasure. Delight. Enjoyment.
In a state of grace, the receiver whose eyes are opened will feel pleasure, delight, joy.
And gratitude for the gift and the giver.
