African motifs and shapes, originally deep expressions of spiritual beliefs and religious tribal practices, have taken on an independent life.
Their intrinsic elements of lines, colours, patterns and structures have engaging powers on their own. Their have magnetic attractions even isolated from their original contexts.
I am thrilled to look at the varieties of styles and ways of how contemporary creative individuals use traditional african art elements to spring off works of their own.
