The Lion King as an animation, thrill and delight. It has an intelligent storyline. The characters are lively. Their personalities captivate. The drawings are brilliant. The scenes are surprising. The dialogue is witty. The character-voices just fascinate. The music charms. You just can't top all that!

And then it happens. The Lion King, the stage version. Every superlative describing the enthralling original is given a fresh buff. The stage version is another masterpiece on its own.

The Real Is Terrific When Mastery Rules

Imagine a hoop.

What can be done with a hoop?

In a hoop?

On a hoop?

While the hoop is moving?

When it is picking up speed?

A Fetching Animated Story

I am delighted with the drawings and the clean staging of this animation.

The rendering is in colour pencil and watercolour.

The storyboard is economical and highly imaginative. It takes the viewer from ground to air. From inside to outside. From cold to warm. From light to dark and to all the in-betweens.

It is such an enjoyable watch.

And so much to learn for the student interested in story-telling with multi-media.

Enjoy this masterpiece:
