More MAD Artist : Segio Aragones

This morning when I looked at the moon at dawn, I was thrilled.

This feeling of delight was the same as I had riding in a rickshaw with my three siblings, looking at the moon following us, over sixty years ago.

When I look at the works of the MAD artists, I get the same feeling of delight.

Amazing. This is 2015. And I am seventy-two. I was nineteen when I set eyes on the MAD.

Perhaps, what is good has a timeless feel.

There is a feature of contemporary art that explores humour rather entertainingly.

I refer to the cartoon-strips. This genre developed with great energy. It came to my attention in the early sixties when I could afford to buy the MAD MAGAZINE  for a few bucks.

And Don Martin became my favourite. His sounds and his surprise-endings are ravishing.
