TREES By Alfred Joyce Kilmer

TREES
(Published in 1913 |  Poetry : A Magazine of Verse)

Alfred Joyce Kilmer

I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.

A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;

A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in Summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.

The Snow Prelude No 15 And The Crane Dance By Ludovico Einaudi

Feel like relaxing?

Listen to these two lovely pieces!

A Triumph Of Ingenuity

Here is evidence of human beings creating together. A winning value system to combine the best of human mastery of science, mathematics, technology, organisation, resources of finance, marketing, ingenuity, imagination and the spirit to produce excellence.

Monday And Primavera By Ludovico Einaudi

I find both pieces lovely.

Played by the composer himself, Ludovico Einaudi began playing his own music as a teenager. His music was composed from playing it on a folk guitar.

Luovico's music has been described as ambient, meditative and introspective.

He draws his sources from contemporary pop and minimalism.

There is some reminder of Philip Glass in repeated escalating chords and transition variation.

His search for more personal expression began with composing for dance and multimedia and later for the piano.

By the late nineties, he began writing for film and television soundtracks and commercial advertisements.

His soundtrack for UNTOUCHABLES in 2011 won accolades and awards.

The Sochi 2014 Olympics featured PRIMAVERA his music for the Procter & Gamble TV Commercial.

Behind The Ease Of Parkour

Behind the scene is the discipline, the intelligence and the developing originality that evolves with repeated practise until the stage of mastery.

Parkour From The Street Into The Screen

Imagine. A new expressive form has developed from the heart of the urban jungle: PARKOUR

What can be done with it?

Put in a storyline. Put in music. Edit it smartly. Present it with style.

Here is a version:
